In this version there are few resource enhancements. It has always been a challenge for the managers to secure the resources in order to ensure that their project has been staffed properly. With the 2016 version now it is possible to request the resource and once it is approved can be locked to guarantee its availability. It has also added a new Report Section and it has better integration with other Microsoft products. The user interface of Microsoft 2016 has also been improved. This version also uses the new Office query “tell me what you want to do”. It will also let you customize the views in order to have multiple timeline bars as well as custom date ranges.
